Perfectly pared down to the essentials and all about the ride, the Jetson Relay is an ideal first electric scooter for preteens ages 8 and up. Its max speed of 10 mph is the sweet spot for young riders, but learners can ride at a slower pace by choosing one of two lower speed settings. Slowing down is as simple as releasing the acceleration throttle and engaging either the e-brake on the handlebar or rear foot brake at the back of the deck. Up to 5 miles can be achieved per battery charge, which is plenty enough for neighborhood exploration.
